|Option 01 - Half Day Sunrise /Sunset Trek to Kunja Puri
Morning we drive (01 hrs) to Hindoakhal via Narender Nagar, the capital of Tehri Garhwal once. Now the palace is converted in to a world famous Ananda Spa. We stop out side the palace for some time and continue to Road head. The entire drive till Hindola khal a is gradual ascent through the forest and small villages. Arrive and commence trek (01 hrs) to Kunja puir. The entire trek is gradual ascent till the mountain top. One can also drive to the temple if not trekking. Visit the temple of kunja Puri , one of the 13 important Goddesss of Himalayan Foot hills.
Enjoy the 180 degrees panoramic view ( Distant) of snow covered Greater Himalayan Range and the vast doon valley....
|Option 02 - Full Trek to Kunja Puri
Morning we start trek from Tapovan village to Kunjapuri. Initially the trek goes through the village of Tapovan and the stream. Later we trek through the forest and meadows all the way to Kunjapuri temple.
Visit the temple of kunja Puri , one of the 13 important Goddesss of Himalayan Foot hills. Packed lunch enroute.
Enjoy the 180 degrees panoramic view (Distant) of snow covered Greater Himalayan Range and the vast doon valley. Trek down to Hindola Khal. Little rest in the mountain tea shops. Later drive back to Rishkesh.
|Option 3 -Full Day Trek to Surkanda Devi
Morning after breakfast we drive ( 2.5 to 3 hrs) to Kadukhal via Narender Nagar, the capital of Tehri Garhwal once. Now the palace is converted in to a world famous Spa. We stop at the palace for come time and continue to Chamba. The entire drive till chamba is gradual ascent through the forest and small villages. Enjoy the 180 degrees panoramic view of snow covered Greater Himalayan Range and the massive doon valley. One can see almost all the Major peaks of Garhwal Himalayas e.g Swarga Rohini 6252 Mts Sudarshan parbat 6507 Mts, Kamet 7756 Mts, Nanda Gunti 6309 Mts. Nanda Devi 7878 Mts. .
Trek down ( 01 hr) to Kaddu Khal. Picnic Lunch and little rest in the mountain tea shops. Later drive back to Rishkesh......
